Huertocity is dedicated to the design and installation of urban gardens in Barcelona and its surroundings, and we also offer a maintenance service, weekly, monthly, or quarterly, depending on your needs.
We design the garden, taking into account all the factors (from the substrate to irrigation) to ensure that by the end of the installation, you can grow your favorite vegetables in the space you have available, whether it is:
– a private house or apartment
– a community garden or terrace

Our process
How we can help you
If you don’t know how to start your urban garden, let us help with our complete service so you can be ready and equipped to take care of your own healthy and fresh crops. We will handle the heavier tasks such as building the beds or grow tables, preparing the soil, moving earth, installing the irrigation system, and controlling pests.
We offer you:
• Our knowledge and experience in growing family vegetable gardens.
• Organic cultivation of a garden on your balcony, patio, terrace, or garden, taking into account the size and dietary habits of your family.
• Soil amendments, transplants, seeds, seedlings, eco-friendly fertilizers, and automatic irrigation systems.
• Weekly control visits (optional) that include: weeding, phytosanitary inspection, and planting.
• Weekly harvests for you to enjoy with your family.
We need to know:
• How many hours of direct sunlight does the area where you want to place the garden get?
• Is there access to a tap?
• Do you have space for compost near the garden (optional)?
• How many people will use the garden?
• How many vegetables do you usually eat?
• Do you have pets at home?
